Illegals - a Flood of Sick Birds.

I'm reminded of a joke an 80 year old Government professor told me in 1990.
Q. What's the difference between "illegal" and unlawful?
A. Unlawful is against the law.
an "Ill-egal " is a sick bird.

I didn't say it was a good joke.

This whole illegal immigrant topic is starting to chap my chaps. Illegals are parading in the streets in mass trying to show the world how valuable they are. They get together and I'm wondering why the INS isn't arresting them by the droves. They're upset at being called an 'illegal'. They're offended by the term. If you steal, you're a theif. If you murder, you're a murderer. If you break the law, it's ILLEGAL. get over it.

If you're unfamiliar with the situation, the problem is this:

I saw a stat on CNN the other day that said that a butcher 15 years ago made $19/hr, today, because of illegals, that job is now $9/hr.

Mexico has 2 main ways of making money. The first is tourism, but the second source of income is illegals taking money for work in the US and sending it back to Mexico. In order to work here, they have fake IDs, fake social security numbers, the works. They don't pay any of the main taxes you and I pay but they use all kinds of costly services like hospitals, schools, welfare handouts, fire and 911 service and more.

Another stat I heard on the radio about this. A middle school teacher in the Dallas area surveyed her class and found that 13 of 28 students admited to being illegal.

The issue is boiling. The south border is so vast, it can't be policed. Islamic oriented materials have been found along this Mexico border. Islamic radicals have already been thought to have entered the US this way.

How about this for a possible fix:
Promise simplified/speedy admission and amnesty for anyone in the US illegally, if they'll register and carry a new identity card. After the registration period, anyone caught as being illegal serves life in prison. I think I'd register if I were in that situation. I wouldn't register if I were an islamic radical.

There are 2 bible tie-ins here.
1. The bible speaks of the mark of the beast. anyone not having the mark cannot buy or work.
2. America is not mentioned in end-times prophecy directly. We can't participate or we won't. One possible reason for not participating in the final war is a new civil war. This civil war could be with Mexican illegals. Certain Mexicans have grand ideas of taking back Texas.
