Hamas has won control of the newly formed Palestinian Authority cabinet. This has huge implications for Israel and the west. Hamas has said they will not recognize or negotiate with Israel. G. Bush has said he will not negotiate with Hamas if they insist on Israel's demise. Hamas has vowed to continue their conflict with Israel.
Israel and the West were expecting a Fatah victory, which would have been a more moderate form of the PA government. With this victory though, you can expect conficts to increase. Al Queda now has a new playground.
Am I just noticing it more, or is 2006 bringing us even more "wars and rumors of wars" than before?

Christians can think this brings the final days closer but so can Moslems who think that killing Jews will bring their final days closer.
